James, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Marketing has been a huge importance in my life, when I was younger I work in the nightlife scene in both Boston and Miami and gain some incredible contacts. Then I went off to college and received a marketing degree from the University of Syracuse. A few years passed and had a few jobs working for small marketing firms in different areas of online marketing, I realized opening a company really isn’t that difficult especially when I have the experience and contacts to do so. In 2015 I launched Northeast Marketing Strategies with my partner. We specialize in Search Engine Optimization, Pay per Click Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Guerilla Marketing and Web Design.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Definitely, we have had struggles. Launching a small marketing business in the corporate city of Boston definitely has been a rocky road. It helps to have high-quality contacts with the knowledge and experience.

We specialize in Search Engine Optimization, Pay per Click Advertising (Google AdWords/Bing) Social Media Marketing (All Social Media Platforms) Guerilla Marketing and Web Design. What sets us apart from other marketing companies is that we provide the same results at a much lower cost.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Built a website with more HTML/CSS Capabilities. Google offers many tools that help with ranking and many websites hosting programs do not allow edits to the HTML coding. Learning that makes us an even stronger firm when clients seek SEO.
