Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Foley.
Noah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Ever since a young age, I’ve been into art, especially comic-style illustrations. Around 2006 (first grade), I made my first “best” friend who had an impact on my love for comics and creating my own little world. Still friends with him today, I can thank him for what he has done for me.
If it hadn’t been for him, I probably would not be pursuing my passion as a career choice. I thrive to be great and eventually would love to have a huge impact on the streetwear/abstract art scene.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been pretty smooth if I can be completely honest. Sure, I have my lows where I feel down and like not getting out of bed, but doesn’t everyone?
Please tell us about the business-side of things, @foetum and what you are most proud of in terms of your work.
As of now, my “business” only comprises of me, myself, and I. I would love to expand and create/collaborate with more local artists. I mainly specialize in illustration, but I also take photos, make prints, stickers, and occasionally pins.
I am most proud of how I can easily collaborate with some of my favorite local musicians on cover art; it’s a good starting point on getting myself and my art out there.
I would have to say the thing that most sets me apart from others would have to be my unique style. I dabble between abstract and surreal comic illustrations, but whichever it is, the outcome is always dope.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing. I love where I’m at right now and will continue doing what I am. My art style is continually evolving, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me in the future.
