Meet Kim Woods of Kaleidoscope Enterprises in Beverly

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Woods.

Kim, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
What’s my story? Yikes, that’s a question-and-a-half. I want to be direct, but my story isn’t. So, I’ll try to be as clear and concise as possible.

I’m an astrologer, author, and former business executive. I’m also a wife, mother and political activist. I wear many hats, but the one underlying them all is revealer. I reveal people’s truth, potential, and magic. I absolutely LOVE what I do and it’s a culmination of many, many years of doing lots of different things for it all to have come together in perfect union.

I dive deeply into my knowing when I read someone’s past lives or invent programs to create abundance or discover superpowers. I utilize my parenting skills every single day when I help Moms find themselves in the midst of growing a family, give teenagers a glimpse of their future or create calm for young ones. I draw upon my experience in business when I download a successful business model or life mission solution to give to a client.

My magical side has been evolving my entire life as my mother introduced me to astrology when I was very young and then I discovered my lineage goes back to John Dee, astrologer to the Queen. This open door led to mastery in many energetic healing techniques such as; Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy (IET), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Bach Flower Essence Therapy, Akashic Record Reading and of course, Evolutionary Astrology.

My parenting skills were put to the test with my oldest as he was on the autism spectrum as a child. We rewired his brain, so he has no residual effects today. This path took many twists and turns through eastern philosophy as well as the western medical community.

My business experience is deep and broad involving both the corporate and consulting realms as I ran a large consulting organization for Oracle and founded a multimillion dollar strategy firm. I grew up in finance and IT and held leadership roles directly out of college. I traveled all over the country, and internationally, selling services and delivering solutions to clients.

My journey hasn’t been direct, but with each stop, I’ve gained more experience, connection and knowing. I feel as I’ve spent the last 30 years preparing for my role as revealer. And now? Now, I get to do it – every single day. How lucky am I?

Has it been a smooth road?
I would love to say that my journey has been easy and smooth, but that would be a complete and total lie. So, not only hasn’t it been direct, but it hasn’t been easy either.

Coming out of the spiritual closet has been a PROCESS and every time I think, ‘Oh, okay, I’m out now,’ there’s more to be revealed. As a revealer, I expect this, but seriously, it’s a lot. I feel like a turtle who sticks her head out and then retreats back into the shell only to stick her head out once again.

My turtling involves growing up in business as it makes sense. I’m super focused, determined and practical and I love leading people, selling services and delivering successful results. The end, right? Oh no.

My son’s born in early 2001 and ass-over-teakettle for me. It knocks me to my knees where I won’t get back up for about six years. He’s a mess and when I see him duct-taped to a gurney at two months, I know I have to quit my career and be a stay-at-home mom. That isn’t the plan and when it happens, even in the midst of sick baby chaos, I know my path’s going to be different when I reemerge.

I just don’t know HOW different. I don’t go straight from business executive to astrologer as I haven’t said yes to my spiritual self yet. I don’t say yes for a long time. I say yes to my magical side to help my family and friends, but not for a life mission. No way as I’m too fraught with angst and fear.

So, I wander through opening a semi-holistic consulting firm, volunteering as a parent and board member, writing and illustrating children’s books and finally writing the memoir of our journey about the brain-body connection. I sequester my magic behind closed doors for years until my heart and soul just won’t let it be contained any longer. It basically explodes out of me until I demonstrate my magical side for all to see. And the unveiling is a process once again, until finally – the revealer.

So, finally, the turtle comes out of her shell for all to see, hear and know.

This epitomizes me and my work. I absolutely reveal you to yourself as you’ve seen, heard and known. Everyone who comes into my reading room is blown away by the revelation. It’s incredibly gratifying and humbling that I’m allowed to do this work. I get to do it every day. Yup, I’m the luckiest person alive and my heart and soul say “Finally!”

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Kaleidoscope Enterprises – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
For me, astrology opens my clients up much more quickly than when I was doing straight business consulting. Before I would have 7 or 8 meetings with a client before they believed their own success model. Now I get it done in one reading. Seeing your birth information pictured in front of you lends credibility where internal knowledge, expertise or general experience just doesn’t.

I’m known for getting to the root of the problem, giving on-target advice and helping in every area of life. I connect to my intuitive knowing and the cosmos to solve business, parenting, family and romantic issues.

I combine astrology, flower essences and crystals in 1-on-1 sessions to give guidance and provide support. I leverage my business expertise combined with astrology when I confer about life mission. I reach into every aspect of my experience when creating a class or writing a book. I read from the Tarot when donating my time for a fundraising magic party.

Bottom line, I use my astrological teachings, my intuitive knowing, my healing rituals, my parenting skills, my corporate and consulting career, my leadership strategies and my learning styles exploration in every client interaction.

I’ve tailored my services around these areas as well to offer:

  • 1-on-1 readings, healing and consulting packages to help people live their very best lives for themselves, families and businesses;
  • Superpower, abundance programs, and Goddess collectives to teach people how to live authentically, unapologetically and abundantly;
  • Books on calm, magic and abundance;
  • Live FB membership group rituals to explain the monthly astrological energies, perform lunar celebrations and lead practical exercises to leverage the power of the Earth and sky;
  • Intuitive business online programs, business mastery groups and Get It Done practices for business owners;
  • Relationship readings for romantic, parent-child or business partners;
  • Family play-and-learn nights and children’s books for families and children;
  • Semi-annual parties to reveal the Goddess in every person.

Whether through my weekly FB live rituals, monthly group programs or collectives or 1-on-1 sessions, I reveal your truth, potential, and magic. ™ You are seen. You are heard. You are known.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the north shore. It’s so convenient to everything – beaches, mountains, art galleries, and cultural exhibits. I can ski, boat, see an art exhibit or garden, go to a lecture or a show without having to travel very far. I love the size and feel of Boston. It’s traditional and small, yet urban enough to seem cosmopolitan. I don’t love the long winters when evening comes around 4:30 pm. I would love to have a bit milder weather, yet still have the change of seasons.
