Meet Vladlen Vronsky of King Sky Productions in Brighton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vladlen Vronsky .

Vladlen , let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Today, people refer to me as a model, actor and pilot. This is all stems from my love for fashion, aviation, and movies. I grew up from a family of very hard workers. They had the mindset to work day and night to provide for me and then later down the road, they have to provide for my little brother who’s currently 13 years old. My family and I immigrated from Russia and have been living in the United States for 20 full years now. They came from a previously communist country where the government allowed fair opportunities for all people. This meant that you worked a particular skill that you had an interest in and worked with this skill for the rest of your life. There wasn’t necessarily wealth or class ranks but everyone was happy that almost everyone they knew were on the same page.

With a tough lifestyle like that, where you had no room to move or increase your worth, my mother went through it all. She’s the person in my life that made me who I am today. I try and implement the discipline that she taught me into my own life. Now that we are in the US, my mom did everything she can to give me the best future possible. She initially put me in a public school when I was in Kindergarten to first grade. In first grade, I was bullied a lot for the way I looked and dressed. Apparently, I looked too sophisticated for a group of young American kids. My mother was disgusted by this treatment and transferred my to a private catholic middle school. I made some great friends during that period of time. Then I switched to high school and I competed in many sports. My main event was pistol shooting. I was a junior Olympic pistol shooter and I’ve won bronze, silver, and gold medals in my national competitions. During this period of growth, I had ambitions to be a fighter pilot for the US Navy. When I entered college in 2014, that ambition died out and I didn’t like how the military was set up for normal individuals. I didn’t want to build myself back up again because I was already in a youth military group and gained enough experience form there. I decided to go down the commercial aviation route and that’s why I’m currently finishing up my duel major in aviation flight and management.

I currently go to Bridgewater State University. This school boosted my interest in fashion and acting. When I hit college, that’s when real life hit me. At this point, I knew that anything in this world is possible as long as we manifest what we love and bring out value and knowledge that simultaneously entertains people. I involved myself with runway shows, choreography, styling, and theatrical acting. I never knew I would love these things because I was very quiet and shy as a child. I decided to break out of that comfort zone and learn how to speak with any audience. What really motivated me to continue acting is when my theater class professor recommended that I stick with acting and learn more about directing and producing so I can understand the entire field. To this day, I will never forget those words from Professor Levine in the Theater Department.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My journey has not been a smooth road. Everything I involve myself in requires dedication and extreme focus. Sometimes I tend to lose this focus when things don’t work out. I’m tired of working at jobs where I get paid little, but I hate it even more when I put time and effort into runway shows, student films and flights and not get a single penny out of it. Luckily, I build relationships and some great networks. Putting food on the table and supporting my family the way they support me is my top concern and in America, nothing is free. You have to set your foot down and negotiate a price for your work. When you do this, I notice that people either never talk to you again or they take you seriously.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the King Sky Productions story. Tell us more about the business.
My business involves creating and inspiring people to be themselves, stay grinding, and shoot for the finer things in life. There is so much to life than staying in a 9-5 job and become locked into a household with a wife and kids. I believe in discovering yourself by challenging yourself to be the greatest you can be. I specialize in communication and motivation. I love to empower people and show that the world has a lot to offer for anyone who goes out of their comfort zone and achieve the things they want to achieve. You have to think bigger everyday and as my role model Grand Cardone says, go 10x on everything you do.

I’m proud when I get complimented on my work and my work ethic. What sets me apart from others is that I feel like I’m involved in many things ranging from aviation, fashion and film. I’m also learning to invest and as I’m learning these skills. I’m helping people that are close to me to see where to look for opportunities.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I believe that luck doesn’t happen by chance. You can’t sit around and wait for luck to happen. Luck is a reward that you earn by working hard and expanding your networks from the things I’m involved in. Bad luck is a mindset. Every action you take has a reaction. It can be good or it can be bad. I choose not to see negative things as a sign of “bad luck.” Instead, I see it as an opportunity to adapt and rearrange my game plan to overcome a particular obstacle.
