Meet Victoria Jones of Inbound Ink Screen Printing & Embroidery in Lynn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Jones.

Victoria, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was a former women’s basketball player and biology/premed major at Boston College. I always knew there was something more to science than chromosomes and molecules. In my mind, biology was something that unified us all. During a 2008 planet molecular biology class, I was struck by the thought that such structures “kinda artsy”. With the idea that a simple message can be spread through simple means, I began an apparel line.

When I started out, I was outsourcing all of my printing and it just didn’t allow for much flexibility in styles, colors, and quantities. So I started to look into equipment and possibly getting my own shop going. After getting a better grasp on things I was able to get together enough money to purchase my own equipment. One thing lead to another and other organizations and companies began to ask for prints. I decided to split my companies into two separate entities and so Inbound Ink Screen Printing was born! I wanted to give people the one on one experience and really focus on great customer service and giving them a product they could be proud of!

Has it been a smooth road?
I must say I am very thankful for the success we’ve had but no success comes without hard work. From late night fulfilling rush orders to double and triple checking prints things haven’t always been easy. However, no matter what happens behind the scenes the main goal is make sure our customers are 100% happy! The struggles and the growing pains are what makes it worth it!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Inbound Ink Screen Printing & Embroidery – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
At Inbound Ink, we specialize in screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products! Water bottles, t-shirts, hats… you name it… we have our customers covered! I am most proud of my company’s attention to detail. Having played division I basketball as a point guard you learn that focusing on the details is what sets you apart from you opponent! However, besides our attention to detail I feel our customer service can’t be beat. When you call or come in there is no doubt that our number priority is our customer. From sitting down and going over cotton types to making sure the Pantone color is a perfect match we make sure we go over the details and this is what set us apart and keeps our customers coming back!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the diversity of Boston as well getting the opportunity to experience all four seasons I consider it home and have for many years! I think the roads are my least favorite thing. The pot holes and construction… I mean really come on!!!
