Viergelyn, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I come from a holistic background where integrating creativity, spirituality, metaphysical and other healing arts modality reflected the layers of my human existence. When I entered my 20’s, I had a soul emerge-n-SEE for which shifted my life. This brought me to a place of self exploration, realization and balance. I went back to connecting with my ancestors healing medicine, learning more essentially what heals and fuels my soul – my medicine. I wanted my practice to offer folks clinical and holistic modalities that compliment our life journey and make sacred space for awakening, healing and thriving.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Expressive Therapist, I offer a strength-based, person-centered approach with the integration of evidenced-based and mindfulness modality.
As a Soul Healer, the foundation of my work is rooted in expressive, spiritual, and healing/ritual arts which foster deep healing, radiating love, self-renewal for which you cultivate your own foundation for living in soul alignment. In addition, I offer Reiki energy healing and spiritual guidance sessions
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a difficult process aligning with my soul core vision there are several layers and I am still learning and developing into the person I am. Though, underneath this person is an authentic being who values all her strengths, talents and admires challenges in many forms. I want to operate and reflect in my balance, patience, respect, and love in my life. It is important that where I plant my feet whether in my office, at home or with friends that I reflect those.
I want to identify women to take charge in areas of their life they are seeking fulfillment. To ask large questions and get creatively different around how they want to live life. Explore phases of their soul and understand what nourishment looks and feels like and this applies to career, relationships, and overall wellness.

I founded GroundingHearts, Inc with the tagline: BE YOUR OWN HEALER, STEP INTO YOUR PERSONAL POWER, AUTHENTICALLY ON YOUR OWN TERMS. This represents my belief that we can utilize internal and external resources for balance living.

You gain a deeper understanding of who you really are, greater life purpose and the mindset to transform your life on your own terms.

When looking for a mentor it is essential that this mentor reflects core strengths, compliments your inter-sectional identities and can gauge where you are every step of your journey. Most importantly, seek out persons who will catch your blind spots!
