Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Williams.
Taylor, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am 22 years old with a love for fashion and photography. That’s why I created my Instagram account. To showcase my own ideas and give myself a space for my own creativity. As my first social media platform, I am happy to say, I have been able to promote my page in a way I did not think possible. In such a short amount of time, I’ve only had my account for 7 months and am so thankful for how far it’s gone.
For anybody out there that needs some encouragement on if hobbies can bring success, I would like to believe that my story can attest to that. 🙂
Has it been a smooth road?
It has taken a lot of time and effort building up an amazing group of people, who are always so lovely and committed to my page.
A lot of long weekends in taking the time to get to know my followers while also networking my way up to where I am but hard work definitely pays off.

I would like to think what sets my page apart from other Instagram accounts would be, not only my photos that I take time to pick and edit to what I believe will suit my style but also what I write in my post. I always have some sort of theme going on in my photos and I go off the picture when writing my post. It’s very impotent to also communicate with your community. I personally love taking time out of my day to see what my followers have been up to. Getting to know them on a personal level.
We’re interested to hear your thoughts on female leadership – in particular, what do you feel are the biggest barriers or obstacles?
Stereotyping – when many people think of a leader, they may think of someone whose assertive, decisive and strong. However, when women take on these traits, they sometimes are negatively labeled as aggressive and insensitive.
