Meet Trailblazer Sabrina Vixama

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Vixama.

I started blogging almost about a year ago. I’ve always had a passion for encouraging people, and showing others that there’s more to life than being complacent. I wanted to create a platform that would allow me to express these thoughts. This world we live in was created for us to manifest our ideas and turn our dreams into reality. One of my main goals in life is to leave an impact on the world. I started off blogging with my first blog called Toast To Reality where I encourage others to become their better selves. The constant support and engagement I had received was truly overwhelming. Messages from complete strangers informing me that my content changed their perspective on life. I was so grateful even if my platform wasn’t as big or growing as fast as the average blogger.

However, I believe in life it’s important to be honest and transparent with yourself. I absolutely loved my first blog and I still do it is still up and running, but I have been venturing out and trying new things. I discovered even more about myself within the past couple of months. I have this entrepreneur drive in me that I cannot ignore. I started food blogging (vegan blogging to be exact) a couple of months ago because I have always been someone that cared about my overall health. After a year of being vegan, I wanted to show others that it is possible to cut out meat, seafood, and anything that comes from an animal and still be able to receive full nutrients. I wanted to share with others new ways of creating recipes, and finding the best places to grab a vegan/plant based meal. Vegan blogging has given me a vision to push for not only my health, but for the health of others as well. It’s given me a whole new perspective on ways to be and think creatively. One of my most recent creative projects I have been working on is a clothing brand called Plant Based Apparel. I couldn’t be more happier for this because it is the first time in my life that I’m not letting doubt or fear hold me back. I’m go after every idea that’s implemented in me.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing in life comes easy, but the key is to never stop trying and focus on yourself. Blogging in general whether its food blogging, fashion blogging, or blogging of any kind is going to take time. You’re going to make mistakes, but you’re going to learn from them. Learning from your mistakes is going to get you far because once you know what to do and how to do it the right way you’ll start succeeding. My advice for younger women is to focus on what you love, focus on what makes you happy, and how you can apply it in society. Don’t let the opinion of others hinder you from starting or from finishing. Lastly, my best advice is to be real with yourself it’s okay to try something new especially if you think that what you are currently doing isn’t working. Take risks but keep the faith and stay hopeful because you will be successful at whatever you put your mind to.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about – what should we know?
I’m a content creator. I love creating whether it be recipes or just coming up with ways to be more beneficial and change not only my life but those around me. I love being able to inspire others it is honestly the best feeling in the world when someone tells me that I inspire them to be great it keeps me going. In the moments where you feel as if you’re not doing enough or you could be doing more words like those will give a drive you never thought you had in you.

Finding a mentor and building a network are often cited in studies as a major factor impacting one’s success. Do you have any advice or lessons to share regarding finding a mentor or networking in general?
I think it’s important to have a mentor someone to guide you in the right direction. My advice on finding a mentor is to try and attend networking events find people that are doing better than you, so they can provide you with the right resources to succeed.
