Meet Trailblazer Bianca Palumbo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Palumbo.

Bianca, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Since I was younger, I have been very creative and involved with my community. My favorite hobbies to this day are reading and writing. When I left for college I wanted to continue sharing the things I love. Blogging seemed a natural transition from my educational background. I launched Bianca Blogs in 2015 as a creative outlet where I could share my thoughts and inspire others. It has taken several years and many edits to share the site I do today!

Has it been a smooth road?
The great part about blogging is that there is always room for change, rebranding, and growth. Before BiancaBlogs.com, I had 3 other blogs I created for myself and companies. It was something I always wanted but didn’t know how to approach. As I took courses and became more in-tune with my passions, I was able to build a fashion and lifestyle blog that reflected my personality and spoke in an authentic tone to others. There are certainly roadblocks when building a new site (especially when learning how to use the software). I would recommend finding a mentor in the space and engaging them with your questions. It will help you to soft launch your site and find a niche you are excited to write about.

We’d love to hear more about Bianca Blogs.
Bianca Blogs is a fashion & lifestyle focused platform where I aim to provide content that helps and inspires others. My career and educational background are in Marketing & Communications which has contributed greatly to the blog’s success. I really try to be authentic with my followers and only share about things I love and use every day. My style changes all the time which results in a feed that is unique and can reach a wider audience. I am really proud of the content I produce and the site I’ve been able to build. Through blogging, I have gained an entirely new skillset and constantly look to continue learning. I’d say the person I put behind my blog helps set me apart from others.

We’re interested to hear your thoughts on female leadership – in particular, what do you feel are the biggest barriers or obstacles?
This is a topic I’ve always been passionate about. I founded the Women In LEADership Organization when attending Endicott College as a platform to help young women build confidence and thrive in their respective career paths and personal lives. As we raise young women to be confident and to pursue their passions we will undoubtedly continue to see advancements in the roles of women in the workforce; specifically in leadership roles. Blogging is a platform that can be used to inspire other women to find their personal brand and go after what they want!
