Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Wells.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My husband Philippe and I left the rat race to open Prana Power Yoga in 2002. Yoga transformed our lives and we wanted to bring this gift to others. We just took it one step at a time and followed our hearts along the way and here we are today 15 years later. We stayed in integrity and true to our intention every moment and we walk our talk. I believe these things are essential.
Has it been a smooth road?
I don’t use the word struggle because I believe our thoughts and words matter. I wrote a book and an inspiration card deck about the law of attraction so I am very mindful about the words with which I describe my experience.
Mostly it has been a wonderful smooth road, which is an indication that you are on the right path. But of course any path has its challenges. It’s all about the attitude with which you meet these challenges. We have and continue to keep our attitude positive and focus on what we want to see. We choose to focus on the positive in others and in all situations. We choose to find the lessons in challenge, deal with the situation with integrity and move on.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Prana Power Yoga – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We teach yoga and invite people to the amazing transformational path it provides. Our studios are warm and welcoming and have great energy. Our community is beautiful and supportive and kind. We believe in the pure potential of all and we focus on this and on meeting our students where they are. You don’t have to know anything about yoga, have a fancy yoga mat or clothes or burn incense. You just have to show up and breathe. I am proud of all of these things and of the amazing community we have built and continue to build.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I always focus on the positive because I believe in the law of attraction and I believe that what I focus on grows. I love our city because it is vibrant, fun, diverse and has a rich history.

Prana Power Yoga Studios are awesome!!!
Taylor is Amazing as is Philippe and all of their instructors.
The environment is calm, inviting and true to the practice of yoga. There are no egos nor any expectations. It’s a purely great place to organically grow in your own practice while being among others who share the same journey.
And if you like a heated yoga class this is one of the best studios smith the best system. Love it!
