Solomon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I had a dream! Through support of wonderful staff and great customers we are reaching that dream and looking to improve everyday.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Troubles along the way include transformation of the neighborhood to a residential neighborhood looking to roll back my hours of business. Management of bills, vendors, employees, licenses… seems like the paperwork never stops.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with South Street Diner – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are Boston’s only 24/7 restaurant. We have created a brand and a landmark location. We are famous for our chicken fingers, gravy cheese fries, banana bread, Boston creme pancakes, and 15 types of eggs Benedict served with memories to last a lifetime.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Building an app to streamline to go orders and create a customer rewards program.
