Today we’d like to introduce you to Shana Perry and Brittney Love.
Shana and Brittney met in Boca Grande Florida when Shana owned her bakery/cafe. Brittney was a budding photographer with no business sense, so Shana stepped in to help create Brittney’s photography business. as some time went on, Shana sold her business and they decided to do take a stab at running a photography business. Shana started to the second shoot for Brittney and both learned more and more about their craft.
After a couple more years in Florida, they both decided it was time for a new adventure in a different part of the country. They relocated to Western Massachusetts in 2011 and started Love & Perry Photography full time. The business exploded in their first year and has been going strong ever since! Several years ago, they decided to add cinematography to their services and could not be happier with the outcome of their films.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Yes, it really has been a smooth road. We have been extremely fortunate to our clients and our business. We have met so many great people along the way and have created many strong bonds with former clients as well as fellow vendors in our area. We remain super busy throughout the year (in a business that can be seasonal). The only struggle is finding more time to get everything done!
Love & Perry Photography and Films – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Love & Perry Photography and Films specialize in wedding and artistic portrait photography and cinematography. We are known for our moody, artistic, vibrantly colored photography with a stylized twist.
We are most proud of trying to create something different through our photos as well as our film work. We are also proud of having our business thrive and be successful for the past 10 years!
Our style, colors, and cinematic film work set us apart from others in our industry. If it’s a different way of looking at things, we are interested!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
We define success as being fulfilled in your craft, being able to stay busy, producing fantastic art, making your clients happy with your services and end product and of course making enough money to stay afloat personally and business-wise.
Our criteria is simple, make your clients happy and produce the most amazing imagery you can for them from every session, wedding or film you produce.
