Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Marchetti.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We started back in 78 when my grandfather Angelo decided to buy a gas station repair shop. Only to have them turn the repair shop eventually to an oil company haha and we’ve had some of the lowest prices for over 35 years we’ve been keeping the competition honest with a great family business that’s on the third generation we are known for our beautiful flowers and Also lowest gas prices around. Recently renovated over a half of million invested we plan to stay here for many more years to come giving the people of north shore great customer service oil deliveries and beautiful flowers.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We unexpectedly lost a few members of our family and an irreplaceable employee e who’s been with us since we opened within a month’s time. There’s been some very tough economy situations where prices were as high as anyone ever saw them on petroleum products but we stuck it out and made it through. We need to be present for our customers.

I am most proud of our ability to keep the prices low and work together day to day as a family it is not always easy but we always stick together and make it through I am just proud of the name Angelo’s it means so much to me and we work so hard to be where we are today. I consider us a landmark in the town of Saugus and we love customers feel so comfortable with our service.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Not a thing! Progress comes with its setbacks. And every negative thing we have gone through teaches us how to be better. If at first you don’t succeed try again. And never give up!
