Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Al-Aghawani.
Sarah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started on my path of Reiki & spirituality by practicing yoga in 2015. I started reading many books such as “The Secret” “The Four Agreements” & doing intense research on spirituality & shamanism. It then opened me up to my spiritual journey and helped me realize I had a calling for healing & working on my spiritual path. I received my Usui Reiki I certification in February 2016. I began to Reiki my friends & family, I was so eager to heal my loved ones & see results. I then wanted to strengthen my Reiki so that I could distantly heal people while they were in the comfort of their own home with Reiki II in May 2016. I now had more healing capabilities and a deeper sense of myself & my life path. I went through a deep spiritual awakening & had to go through some intense pain. I then had to heal myself and I used my Reiki gift on myself which helped me heal and manifest my life dream. I was able to do things in my life I never thought were possible and was able to remove myself from a very negative situation in my life. Once my life was cleared of negative relationships, friendships, & situations it felt time to receive my Reiki Master certificate in May 2017. I had an intense spiritual awakening that instantly manifested blessings into my life and Universe made it very clear that I am now supposed to show others they can do the same. Shortly after receiving my Reiki Master certificate I was approached to join Epidermis & Company in Winthrop, Ma where I rent my own room to perform Reiki. This has been my ultimate goal & am very excited to flourish on my spiritual path. I now want to help people tap into their energy and clear them so that they can be open to endless blessings in their life. I want to inspire all to awaken & to be able to experience Reiki healing.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My spiritual path was a hard road, just like any spiritual path you must go through intense realizations with yourself & the world. This causes pain and emotion. The struggles were building courage and maintaining a path of Reiki healing when others did not support me or doubt me. I was told by a loved one I did not have a gift and was mocked. I still pushed through anyways and knew my special gift would help me find a way out and help others. Getting people to understand Reiki and the power of self-healing is a challenge in itself.
Lightworker of the Divine @ Epidermis & Co. – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business is healing. Using the Universal Life force energy to come through my hands to heal another person. I simply place or hover my hands above a person’s 7 chakras (energy focal points). Most of the time my hands know where to go and additional healing will be administered. I also use a pendulum tool that swings in different motions to tell me if a chakra is blocked or not. I then check myself and show my clients the pendulum swings another way after I have cleared them. If a person has had surgery or pain in a certain area of the body my hands will get really hot. My clients always feels the heat from my hands that causes some internal sensations as way, as the energy is working through any trouble spots. From a Scientific standpoint I am sending energy to the area which causes more blood-flow to the area while opening the client’s energy and removing any blockages in their chakras & energy field. There are symptoms after treatment usually depending how blocked the person was. Sometimes it is cold like symptoms & some emotional releases as the energy is working through your body to eliminate blockages in the body’s natural rhythm. I also perform distance Reiki which work by tapping into my clients energy by using special Reiki symbols to send them healing. I first speak to them on the phone to explain the process and have them lay down and get in a meditative state. The Reiki energy is powerful enough to be able to transfer distantly to someone who I intend to heal.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as being happy, & achieving every goal you set for yourself while being able to look in the mirror and be proud & confident.
