So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in 1993 as a mover. Worked on the trucks for over 10 years and moved up the corporate ladder to sales for 5 years until I took a position as a general manager for a major vanline. I held this position for approximately 6 years until I decided to purchase my own company in 2014. Since purchasing Statewide we have grown to be a very reputable company. Earning multiple awards from various websites yearly. We strive to offer the best quality of service in the industry.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never easy starting out in the moving industry. We have ran into some tough obstacles along the way. From truck issues to finding quality employees that work to our standards. It’s been a long haul.
Statewide Moving – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We offer local and long distance moving being licensed and insured for both. We offer packing and storage and also provide commercial furniture installation. Our customers’ satisfaction sets us apart from the others. Our great online reviews from our customers tells our story of how we offer the best quality for a reasonable price.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being a business owner. Starting something I can leave to my children.
