Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Pratt.
Samantha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My business partner and I have always been inspired by beauty in all forms. We are inspired by nature, by history, by culture. We see value in the old and unused artifacts of human life and we like to repurpose these things to create interest and meaning in the modern home. We bonded over our love of home and a central idea that you CAN create and change the world in which you live. You can always make things better, more functional, thoughtful and interesting. Creating a uniquely beautiful space makes us feel connected to each other, to our past and keeps us excited about the future and its endless possibilities. We became partners because of this obvious connection we had because of the way we were able to speak to each other directly and honestly. We are friends and business partners and we believe that our clients can see and feel our passion for the work that we do.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We have had some bumps for sure, clients that we couldn’t please, budgets that were too small to do what we was really required but through it all, we have always put ourselves first. Money was never as important as was our relationship as business partners and as friends. Of course, we have had disagreements big and small, we have learned how to get through them constructively. We still have things we are working on, all the time. Ultimately, I think what pulled us though the rough parts was our bond as friends and the fact that we both really love being creative in this specific way.

We offer a full range of interior design services. We offer paint, lighting, hardware and finish consultations. Single room decorating services or whole home. We do plant any floral design and can source specific historic pieces, custom furniture and upholstery. We will create mood boards and carefully select inspiring images to help clients visualize their ideal home environment. We pride ourselves on finding unique one of a kind pieces that can transform a space.
What were you like growing up?
I was a kind, happy child. Loved the outdoors, animals. I adored history and anything old. I was creative, constantly moving my bedroom around, making teepee villages and imaginary worlds for me to live in. I was very romantic and passionate. And, I think that has carried on into my love of life, home and beauty.
