Meet Paul Campano of The Campano Group in Downtown Boston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Campano.

Paul, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
At a high level, we specialize in residential real estate sales in the Greater Boston area. However, I have a niche working with unique properties….and unique clients.

What do you mean by unique….and give us some names 😉 ?
I could share with you off the record, but as you can imagine…these clients value discretion…..so I can’t name names…..but if you follow me on social media, you’ll probably see a couple pop up.

OK. Fair enough. Based on those athletes you’ve advised this winter/spring, a quick google search tells me they’re under contract collectively for almost 250 million dollars. That’s a lot of money!
Well….they are some of the best at what they do and are compensated accordingly. It’s great working with those who are always refining their craft…and have become some of the best in the game

This past winter/spring, the Boston area athletes I advised were under contract collectively for almost 250 million dollars. While I can’t name names, you can imagine some were fairly notable.

I also have a passion for unique properties….anything one of a kind, architecturally inspired. Nothing is as exciting as great design!
One struggle we have on occasion is making potential clients understand that we work with a full spectrum of clients….ranging from first time home buyers all the way up to multi-million dollar homes and professional athletes.
Whether you pitch at Fenway, catch touchdowns for Tom Brady, or work in a more traditional setting….we provide each of our clients with the same all-star level of service. As a buyer or seller, why would you settle for anything less?
We also work with developers to brand and market their development projects. This is something I really enjoy! We love being involved at a very early stage, helping with everything from layouts to finishes to staging. The home buying process really is like no other. If you were going to buy a new car for 40k, you do a lot of research…read consumer reports, look at online reviews, etc. You finally find the model you want….of which there’s probably been a million of the same car made. You take a test drive…think about it….maybe drive it again, then make the decision to purchase. With a home in this market, you’re walking in…looking around for 10 or 15 minutes, then deciding if you should spend $750,000 on that condo. You really have to make it an “experience” for the home buyer……and sometimes it comes down to the small details as to why our projects outsell the competition. The professional branding we do for our developers adds value to their project and their reputation.

Tell us about any passions you have outside of real estate.
I do love getting to the Garden for basketball season……you can find me there for most home games. I was named one of the 30 American Cancer Society’s Real Men Making Strides for 2018. Our goal is to bring further awareness and fundraising efforts to the fight against breast cancer. It’s a disease that has touched too many of us. For any client that lists a property with us and mentions “Real Men Making Strides” through 2018, we’re donating $1000 per listing when the property closes….and there is no cap. So we’re hoping to write some really big checks this year for breast cancer research!
