Meet Patrick Cibotti of Boston Body Works in Roxbury

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrick Cibotti.

Patrick, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started buying, repairing and selling damaged used cars. My friends started asking me to fix their vehicles and so I opened Pat’s Auto Body. Because business was looking up, I moved to a more modern location, and thus Boston Body Works was born.

Has it been a smooth road?
There were plenty of obstacles to overcome. Besides navigating the business side of things, it was difficult to find good personnel. Another thing that I wish I could have overcome sooner rather than later, was understanding how to deal with people. Many obstacles would have gone over smoother if that was the case.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Boston Body Works – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Boston Body Works specializes in auto collision repair. Many of our clients are owners of mid to high end vehicles and when they enter the shop, they often speak on the cleanliness of the shop that is something we take pride in. In terms of repairs, cars are in and out of the shop almost error free every time. And as I like to say, we repair customers first and cars second.

Another thing that sets us apart from other shops, is that we work closely with one the local High Schools, Madison Park high, building a partnership to recruit and intern talented students. We try to keep that linkage between upcoming talent and the business. That is what I’m most proud of, trying to help students and give them an opportunity.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Really like the mix of various cultures in the city. Least favorite thing is all the traffic.

Patrick has always been the ‘Christopher Columbus’ of his time- a true pioneer who could plan and predict far into the future. His wise choices made earlier bore fruit in his later years. It’s been a ‘a great movie’ to watch. A tribute well deserved! Congratulations Pat!
