My passion For Massage and helping people start in early age, I always want to do something so rewarding that I can make a difference in someone’s life. Coming from Lebanon 15 years ago with a degree of psychology But That it change quickly when I saw a commercial about Massage school so I sign up and I graduate from Lincoln Tech in 2005 and I’ve been doing Massage since then . I did work few places with other therapists and Build up my own clients going to their houses up till last year 2016 when I open my own spa here in Norwood with the help of my husband who dedicate his time to build this place and when my daughter turn 5 years old that give me more time to achieve my dream and be my own Boss. Being injured in car accident and have few surgeries in my life made me relate more to my clients and able to understand and relieve their pain quicker because I know how to be and live in pain and that’s why My massages is way different than others because I give my 100% of my work and passion and that’s the secret of any successful job you do.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Opening a new business is never easy but you have to be a Hussler and never give up. You will face some discouragement some disappointment but that’s how you grow and learn. You have to believe and love what you do otherwise you are in the wrong place.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the healing hands for massage and wellness LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
My Spa Healing Hands For massage and wellness is all about the wellbeing , we offer Massages with most modalities (Swedish, sport massage ,deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone ,aromatherapy ,dry cupping ,ear candling ,ionic feet detox , tens unit for neuromuscular therapy ) and we offer facial (using Murad skin care product ) , We offer reiki or energy work . We do some event introducing new ways of living healthy from introducing new products or having a beauty event for facial and make up. We are more known for best relaxing place to feel good our clients are always happy to come back again and that’s what I’m more proud of that my clients leave happy and feeling good about themselves inside out. As small business there is no limit for healing if there is new techniques and ways to learn and grow in purpose of helping my clients feeling and looking good I will have it.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I consider my self very blessed and fortunate to do what I love to do, I’m more believer in hard work and dedication than luck. You want to achieve something in life you have to work hard for it it’s not going to fall on your lap while you are not doing anything.
