Author of 4 textbooks, over 100 scientific articles, over 40 book chapters. Lectures nationally and internationally on cosmetic and craniofacial surgery topics. Most recently was the guest speaker at the first ISAPS-Saudi Aesthetic Surgery Symposium. Will be the Wilhelmsen lecturer at the JOHNS Hopkins Hospital next week. Title of lecture will be “Computer aided Facial Reconstruction, Refinement and Bespoke Design. Will be the guest Lecture at the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive annual meeting in Palm Beach in June. His lectures will address facial cosmetic surgery.

Has it been a smooth road?
Surgical training is long and demanding. Aesthetic facial surgery and craniofacial surgery is challenging and requires attention to detail to refine operative strategies and techniques.

Perform cosmetic surgery at the Boston Center in Back Bay, Boston. Recognized internationally for expertise in facial cosmetic surgery. With a craniofacial surgery background have special expertise in surgery of the face and facial skeleton; Special expertise in facial implant surgery. People come from afar for computer designed implants -a niche that I have developed.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Cosmetic surgery will continue to increase in popularity in our youth driven, appearance conscious society. Computer design will have an increasing role in preoperative planning.
