For Dellaria Salons it’s all about our visionary founder John Dellaria. In the 1960s, John Dellaria opened his first salon in Boston MA and now Dellaria Salons have over 20 locations in Massachusetts and continue to grow. John revolutionized haircutting when he created the Pyrametrics Cutting Method. All John Dellaria stylists are trained in his signature system, which has produced renowned hair designers readily recognizable for the “Dellaria Style”.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Without your ups and downs how fun would the ride of a lifetime be? So yes, we have had our fair share of struggles throughout the years, one of the hardest ones was losing our founder and dear friend John Dellaria last year. For us, Dellaria is a family name and this family happens to be made up of very devoted, passionate and incredibly talented stylist who stand together.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Dellaria Salons – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Here at Dellaria Salons we stay true to our roots and make sure no one ever sees yours. With a wonderful group of Style and Color Director’s and their exceptional ability and passion to pass on their knowledge. Both new and devoted stylists have the same core education that is the source of Dellaria Salons signature look.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Who else deserves credit – have you had mentors, supporters, cheerleaders, advocates, clients or teammates that have played a big role in your success or the success of the business? If so –who are they and what role did they plan / how did they help. It is pretty serendipitous the way the Dellaria team met, but the real success came from the relentless hard work that everyone committed over the years.
