Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Peil.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have been psychic and intuitive since birth, and had many spiritual experiences throughout my life. In 2005 I truly awoke to my spiritual gifts and talents, which was sparked by the death of my grandfather. He was the second family member to die that I was aware of prior to anyone else knowing. I was inspired to learn more about what had been happening throughout my life (psychically) and I connected with other like-minded individuals navigating their own spiritual journeys, read any related book I could get my hands on, and took a few classes that gave me the tools to take off and fly given my natural gifts. Through this, I learned to help people get on the best track going forward and/or deal with grief after losing a loved one.
My gifts continue to evolve and shift as I grow and change, and I continue to take classes from some of the best psychics and mediums in my field to develop further. I am grateful every day to do what I love, and love what I do.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Since childhood I knew I was different. I struggled to fit in sometimes because I would know things I didn’t know what to do with, and I didn’t feel I could talk to anyone about it.
As I grew into my gifts, I did receive some push back from those who were friends who did not understand what I was experiencing. As my craft developed into something more serious, my family tried to convince me to stay with a ‘solid job’ and to ‘utilize my degree’ rather than take a risk of running my own business.
I struggled with this because others did not value what I do, and it’s been an ongoing process for me to hold my own personal value high and surround myself with others who also share a similar viewpoint about my gifts and beliefs.
Mystical Awakenings – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a psychic/medium who helps people get on the best path going forward in their lives and help people work through grief after losing a loved one. I help my clients uncover the root cause of issues they’re experiencing, which really helps them see their lives differently. With the help of their spirit guides, I convey information that allows my client to take clear action steps toward living their best life. It’s common to hear that time spent with me can be often more useful than traditional counseling because I can go so much deeper in a short amount of time to helping my client figure out what is keeping them stuck.
Sessions with me are digitally recorded and I send my clients a digital copy for their records afterward. Throughout the session, I draw pictures of the visions I see and take notes as a take away for my clients. If we work remotely, I scan my client a copy so they can print out. Most people like this added bonus, as it really enhances their experience.
I am a natural teacher by trade, and obtained my Bachelors and Masters in Education. I combine my passion for teaching and psychic/mediumship and mentor others. I have a special interest in teaching psychic children, and also mentor adults. I contributed to Caron B. Goode’s book, “Kids Who See Ghosts: How to Guide Them Through Fear” and in 2015, I was featured in the book “Top 50 Psychics” by Jennifur Diamond. I am always looking to expand and grow my gifts, and regularly take professional development courses with some of the top psychic/mediums in my field, including John Holland and Tony Stockwell.
I’m proud to say that I built my reputation from the ground up, and have a thriving, successful full-time business. I have been intuitive and psychic my entire life, but had no idea my life would take the path it has. I am grateful for those who cross my path and who I can help!
