Today we’d like to introduce you to Linda and Jeffrey Vick.
Linda and Jeffrey, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My husband and myself have always been talking about starting our own business, but never did it and was always afraid to start something. One day we just looked at each other and said let’s open a business, let’s jump in and get started. We just had a child and decided we needed to try to do something to better his life and ours. We knew a few people who used vape’s instead of cigarettes, with us being ex-smokers we decided it was a perfect business to help people.
With all the research it is better to vape than it is to have a cigarette, it has been proven nicotine does not cause cancer, it’s the extras that are put in the cigarettes that does. So we decided it was time to become a part of this community and jumped in and hoped for the best.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road to start was not that bad, keeping up with the laws is a constant battle, something is always changing and you are not always informed.
The great thing about the vape community is that customer, owners are not afraid to share their knowledge and help each other out.
The customers we have been very kind to us, very helpful and we really do appreciate every customer we meet. We want everyone to be treated like family.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Vicks Vape Shop story. Tell us more about the business.
Our company is a Vape shop, we offer products for those who want to leave the cigarette behind but continue to get the product they want. We offer everything from starter kits to large Vapor Mods, Premium E juice, accessories
We also offer accessories for cannabis usage.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t think Luck was in the cards here, I think it was hard work and determination.
