Meet Laura Keaney, Anya Reppucci and Liz Mollica of Très Chics Boston in South Shore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Keaney, Anya Reppucci and Liz Mollica.

Laura, Anya and Liz, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
The three of us met and became friends at Athena health, a health IT Company in Watertown, MA. One of our tri-founders, Liz Mollica, owns her own photography business (Liz Mollica Photography), and one day after Liz had done a shoot for Laura’s engagement and Anya’s family photos, we went out for dinner and started talking about how we should start a blog featuring all of our favorite things: fashion, fitness and food! We all have project management backgrounds which has served us well in terms of coordinating our shoots, planning when to post our content and analyzing insights on our Instagram page. We’ve learned so much since we started this journey back in November and we’ve made some great connections along the way. It’s been really rewarding for us to see how much interest we’ve been able to generate, and we have a great time sharing our fashion tips and experiences!

Has it been a smooth road?
Our primary goal from Day 1 has simply been to have fun. We are all juggling careers, family and friends, and if there are days where we have too much going on, we don’t push ourselves to share a post just for the sake of putting something up. We strive for quality over quantity! So, yes, it has been a smooth road so far and we’re excited to see what’s in store for us. Again, thanks to our Project Management backgrounds, we love tracking the various milestones we reach; in the last month, we hit 1,000 followers on Instagram and were approved to be a part of reward style. Next up, we’re hoping to launch our own website so that we can give our followers even more content.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Très Chics Boston – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
There are a ton of social media influencers out there, so it can definitely be tough to stand out. We think we’ve been able to create a sort of unique niche in that we don’t hyper-specialize in any particular area, and, the three of us contribute to our page in different ways and attract different types of followers. Our posts primarily focus on fashion & outfit ideas, fitness regimens & studios to check out, and restaurant & travel recommendations, so we can reach a wide variety of audiences depending on what we’re posting on any given day. The three of us also have very different styles ranging from athletic and more casual wear to designer wear and accessories, all of which will appeal to different users. We’re most proud of the fact that we continue to have a loyal, growing following.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Two of the best things about Boston are the restaurant & bar scene and the fact that the city is so easy to get around. We love to do shoots and meet for dinner or drinks in the Seaport area where new restaurants are opening all the time, and its home to two of our favorite roof top bars, Envoy and Yotel. Laura lives in South Boston and loves being able to walk to all the local hotspots there, too. The only thing we don’t like (and it’s not totally Boston’s fault) are the long winters!
