Meet Larissa Bastianelli of Ocean Cleaning in South Shore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Larissa Bastianelli.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Over the years, I have watched many people aspire for success. Most of the time, it’s simply putting together existing elements to create what appears to be new. As a business Administrator, I was touted as being innovative when I came up with Ocean Cleaning and our team has proven to be a success. I have always known the importance of having the ability to be an entrepreneur.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I created Ocean Cleaning with a tremendous amount of hard work. There are a lot of hidden aspects in every industry and I found out how complex seemingly simple things can be. This does not discourage me in fact it is similar to the feeling of a new beginning, a fresh start and I love learning to every details of this business.

Please tell us about Ocean Cleaning.
We are a team of experts and one of the amazing abilities we have is the amount of training is endured, the sacrifices we made and the courage our team have had to get where we are. I’ve always wanted to be a leader, and the path is not easy considering another tactic for being my own bridge-builder, limiting myself was never not the best choice. I do not fear owning a business, but this is how I see it: If you label something as a fear when sometimes it’s not a fear but a concern and the same applies to business.

I have the great advantage, I know that if I want to coordinate this business, I will be doing a lot of the work and responsibilities myself. It isn’t all about giving orders or having other people do the legwork or brainwork for you. I enjoy the challenge, it’s all about the customer relations.

My clients makes their reservation direct to my cellphone or sometimes they just send me a text message and I provide all the support that they need.

Ocean Cleaning offers: Home organizing sessions, Personal closet organization, Maid services, final construction cleaning, move-in or move-out cleaning.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I’ve always had the right mindset for the job. No matter how hard I work, there are times that things happen, if you don’t have problems, then either you are pretending not to see something or you don’t run your own business. Problems come with the territory and they never surprise me. I expect them, and I learn from them.
