Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Bent.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Kyle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started making music when I was 7 years old. The reason for me starting was because I saw an opportunity to affect the world positively with my voice. I remember looking up to artists like Justin Beiber, Lil’Wayne, Ludacris, T-pain, T.I and many others, and thinking how not enough people were saying something that really mattered in the larger scheme of things.
I thought, maybe if I could get to a platform big enough or cultivate one of the same nature, that maybe I could be that person who says something deeper than the average. That was my journey’s wish back then and years later, here I am – on the same mission.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The journey has been anything, but smooth. Whether it’s been cash and finance, location, connections, networks or whatever the tribulation, there’s been challenges constantly and that’s what’s made the road so beautiful.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m a musician, a rapper to be specific, but one who enjoys trying all types of variation of expression. I’m known for having built an empire and loyal fanbase from nothing, and having stayed committed and dedicated to my craft throughout the many years I’ve been doing it.
I’m most proud of all the people I’ve been able to affect positively since the start of all this. I’m excited for what’s to come and I feel what makes me different than all my other peers is that there’s only one Kyle Bent; I do this to better the world and the people around me.
What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been a misfitted social enigma. Cordial with all my peers, a leader archetype, yet a person hard to truly understand. I was into Smithsonian crystal growing kits as a kid, I was in love with starting and finishing 500 piece jigsaw puzzles, and my free time ranged from intense play to reading Goosebump and A to Z mystery books.
I was always a brain that knew how to get down, who knew how to enjoy being in the spotlight, yet never craved it. I think a large amount of that energy still sits with me today.
