Salon KrySTYLE has been a dream for a long time. A dream to be the best Hair Salon in the area and in the industry. What started off as a dream by a young girl doing hair on doll babies, friends and family has been made into a real life opportunity by Krystal Everett.
At Salon KrySTYLE our mission is to consistently inspire and educate our guest by bringing them the freshest hair care, styles and ideas by keeping up with the current trends, by integrating beauty in their daily lives as well as constantly educating ourselves about the best practices.
We offer a warm and friendly atmosphere with highly trained and passionate hairstylists that listen to your wants and needs. We want to make your salon experience as unique and memorable as you are. We promise to pay close attention to the details of your service, maintain the highest standard in the cleanliness of our salon, exceed your expectations, and keep you coming back for more! Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has definitely not been a smooth sailing road, there has been some struggles along the way. There have been moments of sleepless nights and time away working the business from sun up to sun down. Needless to say, we are sailing in the right direction now.
Salon KrySTYLE – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Salon KrySTYLE was formed in the summer of 2012 in Lowell, Ma and stayed open but slow until June 2013. During that time, I was a mom of 2 children and a third on the way. I ended up making a business decision and closing the doors to my salon. I continued working in the field and having my clientele follow me to my next location. In late 2015, I decided that I wanted to open up again and have a place to call my own!
The fall of 2016 I reopened Salon KrySTYLE with a better vision and mission. I had a reason and I wanted to show my children what hard work can do! I am a hairstylist who loves to provide clients with their very own customized style! I excel in all hair types and textures, including cultured/ethnic hair. Some of my favorite services include hair coloring, chemical relaxers, and braids.
I specialize in haircutting in particular men’s cuts – including fading and tapering. I also specialize in blow-dry styling .
What sets Salon KrySTYLE apart from our competition is that we also specialize in supporting people with special needs especially in the Autism and Dementia area. I have worked in the human service field for 12 years supporting those in need with their daily care including the hair care and morning routines as well as the involvement in the community.
The proudest moment of the salon has been seeing the business grow with clients as well as new service offerings.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment thus far in my career has been my growth as a stylist and a business owner. I have been able to share my knowledge and that for me is a huge accomplishment.
