Today we’d like to introduce you to Katiria Pineda-Colon.
Way back in 2016, Katiria dreams felt so disconnected from her life for a lack of opportunity that she could not understand, Katiria started questioning herself about what she was doing wrong or why she was not getting the exposure she wanted as an artist? That is when a light bulb turned on in Katiria head. She decided to put together all of my inspirations, from her mom being the main one, creating a project that would soon become her passion, life, and a full-time job, called eXpozed.TV Katiria aired her first episode on October 12th, 2016 and now she haws 3 seasons on air so far with 10 episodes each one of them.
From there she recently became a part of the Jam’N 94.5 IheartRadio family! Katiria started eXpozed about a year and a half ago with herself as the founder, creative director, and host. She has been embracing women of all ethnicity, by creating an in-house modeling agency. eXpozed focuses on all art discipline on the show. Another one of eXpozed focuses is the musical scene, which was one of the biggest challenges on the table because the music business in Boston is pretty limited.
In any case, Katiria goal was and still is to change that and help make this city a better place with more opportunities for the creative people in Boston. She wants the artists from Boston to be heard and seen, without feeling the necessity of moving to major artistic cities in the country such as NYC, Los Angeles or Miami just to have a chance to get noticed. eXpozed.TV is a place where people can come and show the world their talent and what they are made of. eXpozed.TV covers media worldwide. They provide a platform for artist to learn and grow from one another. In addition to Katiria TV show, she has an entertainment part connected where her team and herself focus on artist development.
eXpozed.TV also cover all the hottest shows in Boston. eXpozed.TV was named “Show of the year” by Telemundo in 2017, and all of that was possible by endless support from the people. eXpozed.TV wanted to give back to them, so it did. eXpozed.TV had the Summer Jam Fashion Show in July 2017, sending the profits to kids in need at an orphanage in Senegal-Africa. Also, eXpozed.TV were pretty active collecting foods, supplies, and toys for the relief in Puerto Rico after hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the island, leaving the people on the island with nothing. eXpozed.TV are based in Cambridge, Massachusetts but they are positively eXpozing artists worldwide.
They are being aired on different platforms such as CCTV, (Cambridge Access Cable), Comcast Channel 9 and YouTube along with all other major social media outlets, their eXpozed.TV website and three other art collaborators. eXpozed.TV have had numerous celebrities and local artists featured on show such as Neyo, Ty Dolla $ign, Dj PupDawg, Fatboy_sse, MikeyV, GioDee, Millyz, Olivia King, Sir King, Maverik, Safaree, DarkChild and many more. Katiria is a very proud Latina Woman that is growing in the industry as an entrepreneur. Her biggest dream is to empower and inspire everyone, but mainly women of color just like herself by showing them how it is possible to achieve their artistic dreams just as she did through her platform.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For most of the part for eXpozed.TV has been smooth with some minor challenges that eXpozed.TV experienced.
One of the minor challenges was recruiting women to be interviewed in eXpozed.TV episode. Another small challenge is diversifying the art discipline in the episode. The show has an interview with more rappers than any other form of art. We want to get more poets, fashion art designer, musician, etc…

eXpozed.TV” is aired on different platforms (CCTV being our main broadcast).
eXpozed.TV is a series that focuses on all artistic disciplines. eXpozed is a platform for uprising artist to expose their work/talent to the general public. On the show, the artist, share their stories, the struggles, hardship and how they’ve overcome it and not given up on their passion. The purpose of the show is for the artist to tell the world who they are.
Also sharing tips, advice to inspire the art community. In addition, eXpozed assists the artist with their artistic growth and development, by providing management and visuals. Helping artist worldwide is our mission.
