Meet Julianne Webber of JW

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julianne Webber.

Julianne, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started modeling when an old friend of mine with a camera had asked me to help with their portfolio. I was about 15 years old. I always knew I wanted to be published by a big-time magazine from a young age. My reach publications being Playboy, Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, and Maxim Magazine amongst other top names. I picked up modeling more as a hobby throughout my years and have only recently decided to pursue it as something more.

I have worked with a number of photographers and companies on multiple projects and had the opportunity to walk for a couple of stylists and designers.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth seas never made for a skilled sailor. Like any industry you are bound to fail, people will tell you no, and you will want to give up. I cannot stress how important a strong entrepreneurial mindset can be. My biggest flaw is ever believing in those who tell me I can’t.

Please tell us about JW.
JW – my brand. Specializing in promotional modeling, event staffing, social media marketing and web design. I am a one-man show like no other, a jack of all trades if you will.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have pursued modeling as something more serious a long time ago.
