Meet Josh Adams of Seaport Tattoo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Josh Adams.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Josh. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My uncle who was always around growing up was heavily tattooed and that was my first introduction to them. I looked up to him a lot so as long as I can remember I always knew I wanted to be tattooed. That paired with going to punk/metal shows and seeing people covered fed that more. Once I started getting tattooed my interest shifted to wanting to be the tattooer.

Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road. The main factor was myself; a lot of me getting in my own way whether it was constantly making excuses as to why I can’t get work done, poor decision making, missed opportunities or distracting myself with things causing a side step rather than one forward. I’ve learned a lot from my mistakes, it’s still a long road ahead but I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plan is to be a sponge. Keep growing, learning, and bettering myself as a tattooer.
