Meet Imogen Rossi of YO! Sushi in The Seaport

Today we’d like to introduce you to Imogen Rossi.

Imogen, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We opened the doors to our restaurant in October 2016, our first location in Boston in the heart of the buzzing Seaport. We serve up Japanese Izakaya dishes and fresh sushi via our conveyor belt running throughout the restaurant and so we were excited to offer the city an exciting dining experience.

Since opening the restaurant, we’ve loved getting to know the people who live and work in the Seaport – there is a real sense of community and we already have our regulars. We have just launched a new menu and our liquor license so we can serve our cold draft beers ready for the hot summer months in the Seaport!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being new to the city, the main eye opener to us was the weather! The snow hit us hard so we’re glad the summer months have finally come! Other than that, it’s been a great road so far.

Please tell us about YO! Sushi.
We launched in London 20 years ago, in the heart of Soho. Our restaurant is inspired by the incredible cuisine of Japan, taking the sights, smells and tastes of both sushi and street food alike. We are known for our conveyor belt which is a traditional way to serve food in Japan, we love the freshness and fun elements of the belt.

We’re most proud of the freshness and the range of our dishes, we have over 80 dishes ranging from sashimi, poke, salads and special rolls to bars, ramen and Asian wings. There is something for anyone at YO! – Any diet or appetite!

Pricing:

  • We have 7 different plates which are 7 prices from $3 – $7.
