Today we’d like to introduce you to Franziska Drummond.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born in Berlin, Germany and moved to the United States as a young adult. With encouragement from family and friends, I finally took the leap and started modeling exactly two years ago. Since then, I have accumulated extensive experience as a model for the photo, fashion, editorial, commercial, and runway projects. It’s as they say: “It takes a village!” Without the help of so many people, I wouldn’t be where I am today!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Yes and no. Traveling and being away from my family can at times be challenging but I have met some incredible people that have become great friends. My modeling career has taken me places and let me experience some exciting adventures along the way.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Modeling is not just my profession, it’s my passion and I believe it shows through in the final product. I am easy to adapt to a situation and am very versatile. My fluency in both German and English definitely sets me apart from many models and has opened the door to bilingual projects. I work hard and take pride in doing whatever it takes to get the perfect shot.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
This is a long list to go over. I’ve been fortunate to work with extremely talented creatives: photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, set designers, wardrobe stylists, fashion designers… not only have they inspired me but are major contributors to my success. A huge thank you to Shen Bennett for recommending me for this interview!
