So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As an artist, I have always enjoyed creating beauty. I knew I wanted to take that skill and transform it into a profession that allows me to not only make someone beautiful but to also make them feel incredible. My passion led me to Newbury Street where I received extensive training and years of salon experience. I didn’t see myself stopping there.
I knew I wanted to create a brand that would specialize in making people feel their absolute best on their most important of days. I created Lady Luxe Beauty to achieve the ultimate onsite beauty experience that sets itself apart from the competition. My mission is to not only provide unique benefits that cater specifically to you but to also instill confidence that you will look and feel you’re very best.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I believe most entrepreneurs can attest to their fair share of struggles while creating their empire. If your path to success is smooth sailing then you aren’t taking enough initiative and risk to allow your company to truly flourish. Like most others, I have had personal and business relationships tested.
Starting a company was foreign territory to me and no longer the simple salon comradery. Running a business entails a gentle dance of efficiently doing your job while maintaining personal, professional and client relationships. There has a been a lot of discovery along my path to success, but I have been quite fortunate in my journey to have my dream come to life. With the right amount of passion, determination and hard work, anything is possible.

Lady Luxe Beauty is an onsite beauty company dedicated to delivering a superior experience through customized hair and makeup services. We specialize in bridal parties, engagement shoots, boudoir shoots, prom, homecoming, bachelorette parties, pageants, extra special date nights and more! Our strategic methods ensure our clients look and feel their absolute best.
Lady Luxe stands a part from the competition by providing you with a completely customized experience from the first point of contact. A headshot, wedding dress photo, and questionnaire will be requested prior to your trial. These will allow for an understanding of you, your wedding vision, and what looks are most suitable for you. From there we will create a digital vision board © of suggested hair and makeup styles, thereby eliminating any guess work.
It doesn’t stop there! Lady Luxe also includes a customized look for each bridesmaid. This assures your wedding party has a cohesive look and that each girl is looking and feeling their best. Bridesmaids are encouraged to also upload a photo, allowing each look to be individually tailored. Based on these predetermined looks, we will provide you with a timeline in order to facilitate a stress-free day.
What were you like growing up?
Both art and beauty have always been passions of mine. From a young age, I would just sit wherever I was and sketch what I saw. Even if that meant sitting on the couch and drawing out the entire room. I have always managed to find beauty in the most simple of things and art was my way of revealing what I saw.
My attention to detail has always been keen and translated into many areas of my life. I would say middle school is when I really started to find my knack for beauty. I was the first girl in my class to get my hair professionally highlighted and boy did I feel cool! I began experimenting with funky hairstyles daily and towards the end of middle school started figuring out what makeup was about. It didn’t take long before my friends became my clientele.
Highschool I was nominated “Most Likely To Become A Hairstylist,” which at the time seemed comical. Sure, I effortlessly did all of my friend’s updos for prom, but I had the vision that I would become a successful entrepreneur. I went to college for several years and finally decided to follow my passion for art and beauty by enrolling in hair school. After perfecting my trade on Newbury St. for nearly a decade, I finally branched off to start my own onsite beauty company!
