Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Myhaver.
With over 20 years of experience in the painting industry, Eric owns and operates Acme Fine Painting. Eric founded the company in 1998 in San Francisco, California. In 2013, Eric moved back East to be closer to family and friends. Eric currently operates Acme Fine Painting from Jamaica Plain in Boston, Massachusetts where he lives with his wife and daughter.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Leaving long-term clients in the Bay Area was a hard decision. However, returning to the East Coast and reconnecting with family and friends has been great. And, getting to know my Jamaica Plain neighbors and clients has been a pleasure.
Acme Fine Painting – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Acme Fine Painting reconditions or refreshes the look of Boston Area homes and offices. Specializing in interior painting and restoration, Acme is dedicated to understanding and meeting client’s needs. Acme offers a personalized experience and the flexibility to scale projects to meet any budget and timeline. We believe the most critical elements of any improvement project are selecting the right materials and taking care to create a beautiful finished product that will last. Acme is dedicated to living up to its name – providing ‘peak’ performance that meets the highest client standards.
INTERIOR PAINTING
We help you to determine the ideal color and sheen for any surface. Using high quality primers, paints and stains we guarantee a beautiful finish for your walls, windows, doors and ceilings. Acme painters use FESTOOL vacuum systems to minimize dust (HEPA filter process) and are trained in RRP (lead paint safety). We maintain a clean and safe environment for your family throughout the painting process.
RESTORATIONS
We specialize in restoring your walls, windows, doors and ceilings – repairing water damage, gouges, cracks, veining, and sags. Through skilled plastering, sanding, and light carpentry we rehabilitate worn surfaces to the desired finish. Before beginning any project we will evaluate the cause and extent of your restoration needs. With care and skill we will renew the look of your space.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success for Acme includes long-lasting relationships with clients. As a small business owner and father I understand the importance of building a trusting relationship with clients. In my work I often spend a lot of time in people’s homes – it is important they feel comfortable working with me and that I know what is important to them. Sometimes that is reworking a finish and sometimes that is making sure the family dog doesn’t get out!
