Has it been a smooth road?
Very early in my education it became obvious that I was not strong in “Academics”. This was a huge challenge for me growing up. I did not know why I was this way, or how to fit in. My main obstacle was really just discovering my true strengths! I eventually realized my true strength was that I had a special attention to detail in color, and the nuances of shades and textures. I WAS VISUAL!!! I WAS AN ARTIST!!! I loved to paint, and loved the beauty that I could create and the passion that I felt doing that. My “A.D.D” has been a gift in many ways in my life.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am a sole proprietor providing makeup services for TV, video, print, weddings/special occasions and private Instruction. On corporate shoots, I also provide wardrobe and styling. My makeup services include the classic brushes and tools as well as air brushing, depending on what is best and appropriate for the type work. I utilize my knowledge and familiarity of a variety of makeup lines such as NARS, Makeup Forever, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, as well as my own selected makeup line from a both New York and Canadian manufacturers. I specialize in one-on-one makeup consultation and instruction at my Newbury Street Boston location, guiding my clients through the essential professional makeup application techniques. And I also sell a complete line of makeup products. I am known for putting clients at ease. and proud that I have helped so many women (and men) feel more confident and feel good about themselves – not only by using makeup, but by also encouraging my clients on how to improve their self-image. As I express it to my clients: “Beauty is not an age, it’s an attitude – and makeup can be a great attitude enhancer”
What are your plans for the future? What are you looking forward to or planning for – any big changes?

Thank you for featuring Elizabeth. She is one of those people you want to share with everyone because of her amazing talent, yet you want her all for yourself at the same time. I have been a client of hers since 1997 and try to see her every time I’m back in Boston since I’m now on the west coast. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and Elizabeth always makes me feel like a rockstar during each of our consults. She gave me confidence in my makeup bag and routine. And she works with everyone from brides to A-list celebrities. For everyday looks or a special event, Elizabeth Moon will have you coming back for more.
