Today we’d like to introduce you to Elad and Mara Bushari.
We founded Bushari in 2008 to reflect our commitment to building a next-generation real estate company with an acute focus on exceptional customer service and targeted, high-end marketing. We believe that intently listening and fully understanding the goals of our buyers and sellers is critical to achieving and exceeding expectations.
We continue to set the bar in the Boston real estate market for Internet outreach, professionalism and performance. Our independent, luxury-focused firm specializes in niche marketing, tailoring our approach to each property and individual client. As an independent brokerage, we are never beholden to the demands of shareholders, the impulses of absentee owners or the inefficiencies of corporate bureaucracy.
Prior to establishing Bushari Real Estate, co-founders Elad Bushari and Mara Bushari were a top-producing Boston real estate team. Elad was recognized as one of the top 30 agents nationwide under 30 years old in REALTOR Magazine’s “30 Under 30” in 2009. Mara was named as one of the “Top Ten Women in Real Estate” by the Boston Herald in 2010. As a family owned firm, Bushari has its thumb on the pulse of the local market and the agility to quickly adjust to market changes in creative and unconventional ways.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We opened our doors only a few short months before the 2008 market crash. Benefits of being independent include our ability to quickly change course and our agility to shift when market dynamics change. During the early years, we focused on buyer representation and have now grown into both seller representation, development marketing, and leasing services.
We also had four children and moved three times in the past six years; so we have been very busy building a business and family at the same time.

Absolutely nothing. If we hadn’t been challenged and forced to learn from our failures, we wouldn’t be the company we are today.
