PBP Movers began as a school project at Babson College. What was once 2 men and rented trucks has grown in a decade’s time to 17 trucks and 2 warehouses all owned and privately managed.
Has it been a smooth road?
Growing with a quality over quantity mindset, attracting and keeping the best people, and delivering consistency have been the largest challenges to concentrate on.

We are the fastest growing moving company in the Boston area, all through word of mouth. We specialize in local residential moving and storage solutions. What sets us apart is we promote from within and the majority of our ownership and management team began their careers as movers. We are proud of quite a bit, mostly it’s been wonderful to watch us go from a group of guys working for beer money to a company of hard working men with growing families.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Boston is a manageable and very walkable city. With all the great colleges, we attract many brilliant people who care about the city. There is a ton of development which means more people that will want to move into these luxury apartments and condos, which bodes well for our future.
What I like least is it’s becoming increasingly cost prohibitive to raise a family in Boston.
