Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Sardina and Viv Pizarro.
Christine, Viv, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In 1986 I graduated from Electrology school and began working for women in Framingham. It was 45 minutes away & always wanted my own business. After 5 years I realized I was ready & had learned from my experiences with this female operated shop.
I found a location in Quincy on the 2nd floor of a medical building & quickly outgrew my space. I moved to the 4th floor & realized I had more space than I needed. So I quickly reinvented to a spa. I added facials, massages, nail care, & body treatments.
Here I stayed for 6 years. I always wanted more if an In like feel & wanted to own my own property. I searched for years until I found heaven here at 65 Willard St, Quincy/Milton area. Four floors of a Lovely Victorian ish home with a whole parking lot out back! We have been here ever since about 16 years. www.quincyspa.com
Has it been a smooth road?
The challenges are what make us stronger. Always striving to find the right people to fit my expectations has been the toughest part. But now karma has paid off & I’m being paid back with a group of excellent kind generous staff!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Christines Day Spa & Electrology – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am an electrologist since 1985 & a laser technician since 1996. I am very well known in the area as there are not many of us specializing in hair removal. I am most proud of the way we care for our clients’ needs & feelings.
We always try to do the right & honest thing in business & it has paid off. Our spa has the largest most beautiful rooms around! Warm & inviting never rushed or intimidating.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I wish we would have more diverse shops & restaurants. Perhaps some live cultural events as well.
