Meet Christine Dreier of SELF Aesthetics and Therapeutics Med Spa in Franklin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Dreier.

Christine, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a 35 year practitioner in the beauty industry, I started my career as a Cosmetologist working on Newbury St, then moving on to Newton Center. After looking at faces for so many years I found a big part of beauty was in the health, texture, and tone of the skin. It was then I found my passion for the mechanics of the skin. I then went back to school to become a Master Aesthetician. After obtaining an advanced license I continued my education with medical professionals in the practice of laser hair removal, pigment disorders, skin tightening, and more.

SELF Aesthetics and Therapeutics Med Spa made its debut in 2010 in Franklin, MA. we offer advanced aesthetic services and medical cosmetics under the direction of a Physician. As the Director of Aesthetics and owner of SELF, our focus is on high-quality service and client satisfaction, as premier skin care specialists.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The one major struggle was after a couple of years in business and becoming quite busy my landlord broke my lease. I didn’t want to have to renovate and start over again. I, however, was fortunate that he was very nice and helped make my move to a new location very smooth. The new location was a blessing in disguise, all our clients followed and we have welcomed much more since then. In business, there will always be ups and downs but with the commitment to client satisfaction first and foremost, it makes for a smoother ride.

SELF Aesthetics specializes in skin care. I am most proud of our customized individual treatments, I think that’s what sets us apart. We use different products on the clients all the time, our choices are based on ingredients and what the individuals skin calls for at any given moment. We offer a wide range of services Customized Facials, Chemical Peels, LED Acne Treatment, Ultrasonic, Hair Removal, Lash Extension, Lash and Brow Tinting, and more. Medical treatments offer are Botox, Dermal Fillers, IPL Photo Rejuvenation, Microneedling, Skin Tightening,

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I would have to say I may have been a bit lucky, however hard work, a good attitude, and a lot of education makes a difference.
