Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Edward.
Casey, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Very long story short, after graduating college, I felt lost (is that the norm post-graduation now?). I worked a few different jobs (full-time for Nike, Beachbody Coach, barista) until I landed on being a full-time nanny WHILE I figure my s*it out. During these past 4 years, I also began a health and wellness journey. I started to become so interested in any and everything that had to do with health. I took nutrition classes, I started running half marathons, I started a blog and an Instagram- I was invested.
Unfortunately, however, to me, the epitome of being healthy and fit meant being thin.
Fast forward to last year when I found meditation. I began to meditate every single day after reading 10% Happier by Dan Harris, and my life changed forever. It helped me realize that I was settling in every aspect of my life. I loved nannying, but I knew it was not my calling. I loved health and wellness, but behind my screens, I was dealing with eating disorders that had plagued me for 15 years. I loved having fun, but that to me didn’t mean going out and drinking until 4 am. It was time for a change, but I had NO idea what my next move was. *Enter my intuition…who literally said to me one day “Yoga teacher training.” I replied back, “Really?”… and before I knew it I had taken out a new credit card and signed up for both Yoga Teacher Training and Life Coach training.
Where am I at now? Now I am a business owner, a Life Coach, and a practicing yoga teacher. I am a woman who loves food and has conquered disordered demons. I am someone who can say “no” to going out because I want to go to yoga in the morning. I have multiple clients. I run workshops on the Law of Attraction and Mastering our Mindsets. I help people. I fulfill my purpose. I tell my story. I have never been more in tune with myself, nor happier, and I believe everyone deserves to feel the same.
Has it been a smooth road?
As I mentioned, I, unfortunately, struggled with disorder eating and distorted body image for a long time, as well as anxiety (to put it mildly). These things held me back and consumed a LOT of my time, but given the chance, I would never change my journey. Our struggles make us who we are and the stories I have are ones that I can share to help others know that they are not alone.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Casey Edward LLC – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My business is a Life Coaching business that helps any and everyone who wish to see a change in their life- anything from losing 20 pounds to finding a soul mate. I specialize in the use of Law of Attraction and Quantum Physics. I know that we can single-handedly create our realities as I have witnessed it for myself and clients, and I am so grateful to be able to share my knowledge and practice with others.
I know this sets me apart because I have research and practice under my belt with the Law of Attraction and quantum mechanics that not many other Coaches do. I am proud to say that my style of future-oriented Coaching can help ANYONE because every person is in control of their mind and their thoughts and therefore their lives.
I also am unafraid to be real and open, as well as relatable. I want my clients to know I am not just a Coach but also a safe space; a friend (who will always be honest AF). I am very transparent (as you will see in my IG stories), so you always know what you are getting when you sign on with me or subscribing to my newsletters.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Boston because I really do believe it is a city that loves health and fitness. There is a plethora of juice bars and workout studios everywhere you turn, as well as “wellness” spaces with acupuncture and meditation.
What I like least about our city is the cold… which is why I am moving to Cali with my girlfriend in August!
