Today we’d like to introduce you to candice wu.

candice, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Candice Wu was born in Hong Kong and discovered her love for fashion as a child. With encouragement from her family, she moved to the United States to pursue her dream. After receiving her business degree, Candice graduated from the Boston School of Fashion Design. Candice’s functional and artistic designs are greatly inspired by a mixture of cultural influences, blended with traditional elements and modern ideas.

Several fashion events have featured Candice’s work including Boston Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, StyleWeek Northeast, Rhode Island, LA fashion week, as well as at prestigious institutions such as Museum of Fine Arts, Peabody Essex Museum, Boston Symphony Orchestra, M.I.T Museum, Boston City Hall, In addition, her work has graced the pages of Upscale Living magazine, Vogue Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, Fashion World Magazine Paris, The Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Improper Bostonian, and several other national print magazines, and she has been featured on Fashion TV, Fox TV, ABC and other broadcast media.

Candice’s has received numerous awards, including the Certificate of Recognition from Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, the Boston Fashion Award (2012 and 2013), and was honored with the People’s choice Winner of M.I.T. Descience Project in 2014. Best of Boston Wedding dresses Designer 2016.

While she has spent many years creating gowns and formal dresses, Candice most recently turned to breathtaking bridal dresses featuring convertible and functional design and adorned with fabulous beading and Swarovski crystal accents that are intricate applied using an exclusive technique. She recently debuted her stunning couture wedding collection at the opening of her new bridal boutique, located in Boston’s historic South End.

we doing custom design and custom made bridal gown, from fabric source, sketch, pattern to final finished product we work with clients very closely, make sure step by step to help them create their dream dress. We awarded Best of Boston wedding dresses designer 2016 and the knot picked Best of Wedding 2017. We doing everything custom , not like other bridal boutique they selling brands and by sizes, we doing measure to made.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Boston is a very historical city, have different vibes and mix crowd, but not a high fashion trendy city like NYC.
