Meet Brian Mahoney of Boston Hypnosis in Bay Village

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Mahoney.

Brian, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was a partner in a public relations technology research company thorough the 90s and the early 2000s. Towards the end of my stint there, I did some coaching work with some of the folks who I was managing. I was impressed with the results they got for themselves, so when I left the company I started doing some coaching on my own. Fairly soon, though, I realized I needed better tools, as many of the problems clients were coming with were pretty serious. When I looked in the direction of hypnosis, I was really impressed with what I was seeing for results people were getting. Not long after I was on my way to London for my first formal training. That was 2003. I opened the doors for Boston Hypnosis in 2004 and have been in full time private practice ever since.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Mostly it’s been a smooth road. The challenge has always been how to help even more people succeed in a way that’s easier and faster for them. I’m happy to say I continue to develop my skills, and I see more clients getting even better results as time goes on. So it’s very much an ongoing process.

Boston Hypnosis – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I help clients resolve weight loss and anxiety issues with hypnosis, deep conversation and coaching. The work I do is very different from most other people in the field in that I take such a wide variety of approaches. I find that in order to get consistently good results, it’s really important to be able to tailor the approach to the way the client is doing the problem. All the work is about resolving the issue at its deepest level in a way that will allow the client to be completely free from it for good.

I think what I’m most proud of is that I’m able to help clients get positive results so consistently. That’s why I’m comfortable charging a flat fee for successful outcome and guaranteeing the results.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success at Boston Hypnosis = happy clients who have achieved what they came to achieve.
