Her extensive background and knowledge of business and the arts are used in her programs for the advancement of corporate professionals and performing artists.

Bren is a target-driven coach combining diligence, energy, creative problem solving, and relentless dedication with a proven success record in communication development and skills.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been told to me that when you start your own business, you never stop working. I didn’t really believe that until I began Communication Matters Studio. I have found it challenging to balance the administration work with the marketing and teaching. But I’m not complaining! This is my passion- every day and everything I am doing with the Studio is an absolute joy.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Communication Matters Studio – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
For me, teaching is a passion; I live and breathe it. Since 1996, I’ve provided corporate executives, ESL students and actors extensive private & group teaching services in a number of different fields but all related through the combination of acting techniques and corporate learning and development tools. I take pride in teaching people who are eager to expand their minds, talents and skills, and bring a depth of professional expertise to those who strive to excel.

There are 4 areas I specifically coach in the CM Studio: Public Speaking, Acting (which includes voice over), Accent Reduction and Speech Team. I offer personalized & group classes at affordable prices and use my specialized lessons to improve areas of difficulty offering confidence building and practice to achieve winning results.

I am very proud to be able to hire the coaches and teachers who taught me and I have been blessed with superb reviews from my students. I am most proud of these students; many come the Studio to battle the fear of public speaking or to indulge their passion of acting. Some reach out due to the loneliness incurred as a foreigner when English understandably…. and they learn, rehearse, train and leave the studio with renewed confidence, a sense of pride.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans would be to seek an art grant of some sort so I can get a bigger studio, I believe that what CM Studio offers is very important in this on-line/ cyber world. I have seen how the soft skills being encouraged and coached is helping people live happier lives.
