Today we’d like to introduce you to Bimal Nepal.
Bimal, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Nepali journalist turned professional photographer in the USA since 2009. I moved to the USA in 1999 and started a photography business in 2009. After working as a fashion and modeling photographer in InterFace, Boston and later in 2012 I started my own Photography business in Cambridge, MA. I am a commercial and editorial photographer based in Cambridge, MA.
Recently I have been appointed as the official photographer of the Boston Marathon 2017. My work has appeared in National Geographic, web, blogs, news media and stock portfolios including iStockphoto and Corbis Images. I specialize in photojournalism, documentary photography, portraiture, and nature and landscape photography. I am an experienced journalist in a daily newspaper and currently working as fashion and model photographer in Boston and Contributor photojournalist for some international news agencies.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being published in many international media is my proudest moments. I have published in local media like Boston Globe, the Cambridge Chronicle, Bostondotcom ect.
