Meet Bill Paulson of Keller Williams Realty Boston Southwest in Needham

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Paulson.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Bill. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am a realtor covering Needham, Newton, and Wellesley. I have been a realtor since 2004. Before that I was in high tech for 20 years. I utilize my technology background to help me in my real estate career. I have grown my business to the point where I sold 18 homes in 2016 with an average sale price of $1m making me one of the top agents in Needham. My clients tell me in their reviews that they appreciate my attention to detail, calm demeanor, and ability to negotiate effectively on their behalf.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I worked for 10 years and sold on average 7 homes per year. It wasn’t until I came to Keller Williams that my real estate career really took off. The training, mentoring, and coaching I have received from Keller Williams really sent my career to a new level. It has been life changing for me and my family.

Keller Williams Realty Boston Southwest – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Keller Williams Realty is the largest real estate franchise in the world with over 150,000 agents. Its strong growth path sets it apart from the other national franchises which have been relatively flat. Training Magazine has more than once rated Keller Williams as the number one training organization across any industry. With an Associate Leadership Council in each market center, an open books policy, and its “your listings your leads” philosophy, Keller Williams is truly a real estate organization that is by the agents and for the agents. The Keller Williams profit sharing plan is truly unique in the industry and makes our company one of the few companies these days that has a retirement plan for its employees.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I have had many proud moments working with my awesome clients helping them to handle what is often their largest asset and always a place where their families have made, or will make, many memories. From a pure numbers perspective, I’m proud that more than once I have been the #1 Keller Williams agent in the New England region.
