Established in 2017, Corky’s is a small, family-run business carrying quality home goods. Corky’s specializes in making custom and pre-set coasters for decor.
Corky’s is a Boston based company with a dedication to supporting local business and organizations. Though Corky’s is an online business, the company sells products at craft fairs and is looking to expand to shops & boutiques. This is where Corky’s began and will continue to grow as a small shop featuring homemade artisan items that are full of character and are always unique.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a lot of trial and error to make the coasters as nice as they are today. However, the road to sharing with others has been relatively easy as it is mainly e-commerce for now. As it is still a new venture, it has been exciting to see the products sell and introduce them to our customers! Corky’s will hopefully be in stores soon. This is the next step for us.
Please tell us about Corky’s Co.
The first coasters were made as gifts for family and friends and are now designed based on requests as well as seasonally. Other products including ornaments and wreaths are now sold in our shop too. We specialize in creating custom coasters with photos, tickets, cards, etc. that are created for the individual and family. We have also produced coasters with company logos to be used in offices and as gifts.
We are very proud of our product and the time that goes into creating each unique sets. We are also so happy with our customers and the experience we are able to provide them!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I don’t believe we would have done too much differently, honestly. The one thing would have been to take peoples thoughts on design prior to launching our first sets. We’ve seen some do better than others and are now much better at gauging what people are looking for!
