Today we’d like to introduce you to Benjamin Williams.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Benjamin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
ARsome was established in 2016, and it has not been an easy road getting to where we are today. When we first began, approaching potential customers with augmented and virtual reality solutions was an uphill battle, as most of them had no idea what this technology was, let alone how to utilize it within their business model.
With this realization, we pivoted our approach and began educating potential customers on how this technology can better tell a story of their brand, or better educate a student in a classroom. As we began to educate the public and potential customers, we started gaining relationships, and soon after, customers.
If we fast forward to today, the technology is much more advanced, and most of our potential customers have significant knowledge of it. Although this is the case, we still provide augmented and virtual reality presentations, workshops, and webinars at libraries, museums, and conferences to continue educating the public and building relationships.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I highlighted one of the major struggles in the previous questions, so I will add another one here*
One of the struggles we had was the difficulty of getting early adopters. Of course, with any new technology, especially technology that is evolving at a Ferrari rate, it was difficult to gain those initial clients who would take on a project and believe in our expertise to build a jaw-dropping augmented or virtual reality experience.
Luckily, we were able to find a few clients who had a vision, and wanted to be trailblazers within their industry and gave us the opportunity to show our talents.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
ARsome Technology Group builds augmented and virtual reality solutions for clients and provides augmented and virtual reality services to partners. Although our specialty is augmented and virtual reality and how to implement it to better an educational or business objective, we pride our selves on being a company that builds relationships first.
We have a 100% customer retention rate and we intend to continue our efforts in ensuring that our current client and partner portfolio are satisfied with their project or service. All too often we hear stories of technology companies who lack the human touch, that is something we plan to drive through all of our business practices.
We are known for our ability to build relationships and become an integral team player within a client or partners organization, by giving AR/VR expertise, options, and recommendations on how to best utilize the technology.
Although we are proven experts in the field, what makes me most proud is our ability to find innovative and creative ways to fit the technology within a client or partners business model that completely elevates their value propositions. Sometimes it takes time and continuous conversations, but as the relationship grows, so does the confidence in our abilities to bring the client or partner to the next level.
What were you like growing up?
I was a very curious and active boy. I would ride my bicycle up and down the street all day long, and find dirt paths within the woods behind my home to explore. I didn’t have too many friends growing up, and was labeled a shy and quiet child, which I was OK with.
I also had an entrepreneurial mindset, as I remember selling cookies and lemonade on the street, homemade pretzels on the school bus, and comic books within the classroom.
I was also very competitive and a decent athlete in basketball and soccer. I wasn’t tall enough to continue my journey in basketball, and I wasn’t fast enough to continue soccer, so those initiatives stopped in high school.
I enjoyed helping people, animals and spent much of my time around my family growing up.
