Today we’d like to introduce you to Annmarie Stephens and Mary Kate Sandorse.
Annmarie and Mary Kate, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started as a Theatre Student with an interest in television at Roger Williams University. i worked for a long time at a local network. Then one day my brother and I decided lets open our own business, we bought a satellite/production truck. We rented an office and here we are 22 years later!! We have 7 employees , a large pool of freelancers and work on hundreds of local and national productions. We are now one of the most ask for support vendors to the networks. NBC Sports being one of our largest clients.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Never a smooth road. We are always trying to better ourselves. Stay state-of -the-art. have all the newest equipment. Mean while managing cash flow and keeping the team happy.
Please tell us about Remote Facilities Inc.
We a re a company that specializes in live broadcast events. Such as NFL football games, concerts, news and even smaller local shows. We are a support vendor the networks and offer equipment rentals, crewing, rental of large mobile units and technical management. We pride ourselves on being the first and only call you need to make for your production. We can assist you from start to finish.
Your event is always our most important event.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would had branched out to other locations maybe closer to NYC and Washington DC.
