Meet Alexis Gomez of Alexis Gomez Designs in Worcester

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Gomez.

Alexis, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I learned about my creativity skills in 2008 when a dedicated art teacher told me I had a special talent. She worked with me to improve my skills and entered a self-portrait I done to the Boston globe art scholastics contest with over 300 students from all over MA. That year I won my first gold key and had the privilege of seeing my artwork hung up at the Boston Art Museum. Since then, I have taken AP art classes in high school and sold my art to family and friends.

In college, I began my studies in Graphic Designing from learning the basics to creating versatile graphics for commercial and personal use. I also major in Art History and that has helped me see a different point of view on art styles and have been inspired by past contemporary artists such as Wassily Kandinsky. I have worked in customer service for over six years and presently working as a content developer for Applied Interactive while being a freelancing graphic designer.

Since opening the doors of my design business in 2017, I’ve provided clients with a wide range of services that set them apart from their competitors. I have helped local businesses with stunning graphics and visuals that have helped them reach a wider audience. As a prominent Graphic Designer from Worcester, Massachusetts, I understand the importance of creating a visual appeal that attaches. I am grateful for God and each opportunity that has been given to me over the years and I am excited for 2018.
