Brittany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve been a frequent traveler my whole life. The spark really ignited for me when I spent a semester of college living abroad on the South Island of New Zealand and fell head over heels. There is nothing more exciting and thrilling to me than opening my eyes and heart to new cultures, people, and places. I have also been taking photos for as long as I can remember. Being able to look back on my adventures through photos almost allows me to live them all over again. This naturally led me to begin a travel blog that lets me document and share my travels with anyone who’s interested in hearing about them!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It is tough not to compare myself to others this day in age when it comes to blogging, photography, and sharing images on social media because the market is so saturated. Sometimes, I worry that what I’m doing isn’t quite unique enough. It’s so important to remember that, firstly, I’m doing this because it truly makes me so happy to share my own personal travels, stories, and photos. Secondly, my experiences are my own and this can never change. As long as I stay true to myself and share what I love, I will be set apart. My advice to anyone starting this journey is to just jump in! Don’t think too hard about creating a niche or doing something different; the travel blogging business is so awesome because, even if people visit the same places, each person’s experience is different so you will always have your own story to share.

I am a travel blogger, photographer, and travel planner. I hope that, through reading about my personal journeys, I can inspire others to take a trip themselves! My extensive experience in planning along with my desire to get to know my readers and clients allows me to create personalized itineraries for those seeking their own unforgettable adventures.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
Absolutely! My family has always supported me in all that I do and my parents are the ones that started me traveling in the first place. They set me on the path to this success.
